Blue Peter host Thomas leaves show
Wednesday 19 January 2005The 31-year-old, who joined the show in 1999, said that he wanted to pursue new challenges.
Thomas, who will present his final show on 25 April when the current series ends, said: "It was a tough decision to make because 'Blue Peter' is a place where you get to fulfil your dreams - and I've certainly done that."
Commenting on Thomas' departure, 'Blue Peter' editor Richard Marson said: "He is one of the definitive presenters for his generation and 'Blue Peter' viewers have shared in all his many triumphs and achievements. We wish him the very best for the future."
