She will play dates in Cork, Limerick and Galway, finishing with a show at Dublin's Temple Bar Music Centre on Sunday 19 September.
'Something Ilk', which is released today, was recorded with Ben Hillier (Blur, Elbow) at Rockfield Studio in Wales during the 2003 heatwave using a selection of pre-war Russian microphones.
Davey's influences include PJ Harvey and Kate Bush but she considers the end result to be "a record that doesn't sound like anything else in your collection".
