Big Brother housemates stage protest
Thursday 8 July 2004The contestants have refused to speak since early this morning, prompting producers to do a microphone check before realising that the housemates had hatched a plan for revenge.
After failing their 'back to school' challenge the housemates will only receive rice, beans and flour this week, instead of having the choice to compile their own shopping list.
'Big Brother' producers have already begun an attempt to crack the protest, by turning off the hot water supply and beaming the sound of a screaming baby superimposed over car horns and road works into the house at regular intervals.
Big Brother has also refused to speak to housemates who enter the diary room for a chat.
