Rapper DMX reschedules Irish shows

He was due to play The Ambassador Theatre in Dublin on Sunday 27 and Monday 28 June. He will now play the same venue on Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 July.
Tickets purchased for the 27 June show will be valid for the show on 13 July and tickets purchased for 28 June will be valid for 14 July. Refunds are available if these dates do not suit ticketholders.
The shows were postponed after DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was arrested after allegedly crashing his sport-utility vehicle through a parking lot gate at Kennedy International Airport in New York and telling the attendant he was a government agent.
He and a friend were both charged with criminal possession of a weapon and a controlled substance, which was crack cocaine.
The Associated Press reported that the rapper was also charged with criminal mischief, impersonation, menacing, driving under the influence and endangering the welfare of a child.
The pair are currently free on $15,000 bail, but if found guilty of all charges both men could face up to seven years in prison.
Known as the king of hardcore rap, DMX is the first artist to have his first four albums enter the US album charts at Number One.
He has also appeared on the big screen with a string of acclaimed roles in films including 'Never Die Alone', 'Cradle 2 The Grave' and 'Romeo Must Die'.
Remaining tickets, priced €40, for DMX's Irish dates will go on sale this Friday, 2 July at 9am from Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide.

This is the first of two semis in the lead up to Saturday's singing shootout and John and Edward will be battling to be one of the ten countries from each semis to join the host nation, along with France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom in the final. Let's hope they keep their head above the, eh, waterline.

Clare and in the process we the amazed viewer learn how to transform a burnt orange, uncoordinated dining room into a classical slice of the Hamptons (is that in nearby Ennistymon?), on a tight budget. And of course, proud homeowners Collette and Alan get to see their brand new space for the first time.
