Beyoncé on top for Grammys shortlist
Friday 5 December 2003A further nine artists, including Missy Elliott, 50 Cent, Justin Timberlake and late rocker Warren Zevon, are up for five nominations
Beyoncé and Jay-Z's 'Crazy in Love' is competing in the category for Record of the Year against the Coldplay's 'Clocks', Black Eyed Peas/Justin Timberlake single 'Where Is the Love?', OutKast's 'Hey Ya!' and Eminem's 'Lose Yourself'.
Timberlake's solo album, 'Justified' and OutKast's 'Speakerboxxx/The Love Below' are also up for the Best Album Award alongside 'Fallen' by Evanescence, 'Elephant' from The White Stripes and Missy Elliott's 'Under Construction'.
The list of nominations was announced by artists including Moby, Sarah McLachlan and Dido at a press conference at the Beverley Hills Hilton.
The awards will be presented on Sunday 8 February in Los Angeles.
