Mariah Carey in autobiography plan
Friday 26 September 2003MTV News reports that Carey's 30-page proposal says that the book would focus on her childhood and overcoming adversity.
It would also include some of the singer's poetry.
The book, which Carey has refused to describe as a memoir because "it's a little early for that", would be penned with journalist David Ritz, who has also written biographies of Aretha Franklin and Marvin Gaye.
