Matrix Reloaded tops US box office
Monday 19 May 2003Including Thursday's $42.5m opening day and $5m from Wednesday previews in the US, the film has grossed $135.8m over four days.
'Reloaded' sees Neo (Keanu Reeves) and his band of warriors attempt to contact the creator of the Matrix.
Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss and Hugo Weaving also star, with Larry and Andy Wachowski directing.
Eddie Murphy comedy 'Daddy Day Care' is at two on the US chart, followed by 'X2: X-Men United'.
'The Matrix Reloaded' also topped the chart in France, Australia, Holland, Belgium, Turkey and Taiwan. It opens in Ireland on 23 May.

Hosted by Vernon Kay, both celebrities and their families go head to head for the big money, and the chance to win up to a five-figure sum for the charity of their choice.

Plenty of high drama at Holby General's A&E department as Zoe tries to convince Sam to sit down and talk to Keith Parr before he brings an action against Sam and the hospital. A troubled woman is brought into the ED after being hit by a lorry and Lloyd is quick to jump to conclusions about the driver. Meanwhile Linda has a chance to examine her feelings when Lenny tackles her about putting her niece and nephew into care.
