Matrix short getting Irish release
Thursday 10 April 2003Described as "chapter 1.5 in the 'Matrix' trilogy", '.Osiris' will be shown before the alien thriller 'Dreamcatcher', which opens in Ireland on 25 April.
Mixing computer generated animation and Japanese anime, '.Osiris' is one of nine short films that make up 'The Animatrix' collection and provides further insight into the characters and world of 'The Matrix'.
The films were conceived by the creative duo behind 'The Matrix', the Wachowski Brothers, who have written four of 'The Animatrix' films, including '.Osiris'.
'The Animatrix' will be released on DVD and video worldwide on 3 June.
Four of the films are also available to view at theanimatrix.com website.
'The Matrix Reloaded' reaches cinemas on 23 May.
