Zeta-Jones Hello! case is underway
Monday 3 February 2003The duo are claiming stress, loss of income and damage to their professional careers after the celebrity magazine published unauthorised and poor quality photographs of their 2001 wedding.
Douglas (58) and Zeta-Jones (33) had signed a £1m contract with OK magazine, for exclusive pictures of the wedding but - despite tight security - Hello! also obtained and published photos of the event.
The couple's barrister told the court that despite the fact that the pair had turned down a £1m-plus deal with Hello!, the magazine arranged for paparazzi photographers to gatecrash the wedding and take "surreptitious" pictures.
Zeta-Jones is currently in Berlin for the premiere of her new film 'Chicago', while Douglas is in Sierra Leone for the United Nations. Both are expected to appear at the High Court next week.

Meanwhile, Kenneth prepares for the Rapture.

- Golf: PGA Championship
Golf is one sport that looks amazing on TV, so here's another treat for couch potatoes. Hazel Irvine presents live coverage of the fourth and final round at Wentworth. Last year's final day culminated in a dramatic play-off between Luke Donald and Lee Westwood, and it was the former who emerged victorious to take the world number one spot off his compatriot. With so many Europeans dominating the top of the World rankings, viewers can expect a tight contest (and maybe an Irish win).
