U2 nominated for Best Act Q award
Tuesday 15 October 2002They will be competing against Coldplay, Stereophonics, Radiohead and Oasis - who are also up for two other awards.
Both U2 and Oasis have won the Best Act award four times previously.
Coldplay, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Vines, and The Hives all received two nominations each.
Performers at the ceremony, which will take place next Monday October 21 at London's The Old Saatchi Gallery, include Ms Dynamite, So Solid Crew, Idlewild, Beverly Knight and The Hives.
