Six albums in and you wonder just when the spotlight is going to settle on Randall Nieman aka Fuxa. Following on from the gorgeous electrics he unveiled on 'Fuxa 2000' comes 'Supercharged', an album which lives up to its title and finds you and Nieman lost and found in the lushest of territories.

Ever blurring the lines between instruments and machines, he manages to cram a whole night's wonder into 32 minutes, nursing you to sleep with the keyboard pattern on 'It Was You' and brightening up your solitary daybreaks with 'A Little Time Alone'. And that's only if you've managed to stop putting the vocal-driven opener 'Hide Away' on repeat for the next twelve months.

Nieman already counts the likes of Suede's Brett Anderson and Andrew Weatherall amongst his fans, one late time listen to this and you'll know that you can't keep him to yourself for too much longer.
