Oasis gigs sell out
Saturday 18 August 2001Some had been queuing since Thursday for tickets, which went on sale at 10.00am this morning, exactly ten years after the group's first gig.
Tickets allocated for online sale went in just four minutes.
The bands first gig was at Manchester's Boardwalk on August 18, 1991, and since then they have played 465 shows around the world.

Last year's final day culminated in a dramatic play-off between Luke Donald and Lee Westwood, and it was the former who emerged victorious to take the world number one spot off his compatriot. With so many Europeans dominating the top of the World rankings, viewers can expect a tight contest (and maybe an Irish win).
