Michael Sandison and Marcus Eoin, so much to answer for. Three years ago they released the album 'Music Has The Right To Children' and some people and their stereos have never been the same since, finding that nothing warmed or wondered quite like the Boards' electro glories. Now, after what seems like slow-mo eternity, 'In A Beautiful Place...' finds the duo adding more colours to their dusk and daybreak designs, working off more traditional structures and filling out the beats and whirrs with the 'singing' of kids' laughter, robot voices and slide projectors. Futuristic but cotton wooled in dreaminess, their central heating for souls is just the thing to get you through the winter months.
