Irish triathletes in action in Spain

Caroline Kearney, Gavin Noble and Brian Campbell will be representing Ireland at the ETU Elite Triathlon Championships in Valencia, Spain on April 18. Kearney is a member of 3Dtri club, and current women's Olympic Distance Champion.

She recently returned from warm weather training in Cyprus and showed her good form by winning The Stoneman Cup Duathlon in the Phoenix Park in March.

Noble, a full time triathlete from Fermanagh, is currently training in Spain where he recently competed in the Southern Spain Duathlon series, winning his first race and coming third in another.

Campbell was the 2002 Irish Triathlon Champion and former Irish Breaststroke swimming Champion. He was injured in 2003 but is back to full health now and ready to take 2004 season on.

He has recently returned from a training camp in Australia and got called up to the Irish team at the last minute.

European Elite Triathlon Championships - Valencia, Spain. 1500m Swim, 40k Cycle, 10k Run.
