Reve De Sivola may make Punchestown trip

Reve De Sivola could take on Solwhit and Quevega in their own back yard in the Ladbrokes World Series Hurdle at Punchestown on April 25.
Both Irish aces were successful at the Cheltenham Festival - Quevega winning the OLBG Mares' Hurdle for an amazing fifth time and Solwhit returning to his best in the Ladbrokes World Hurdle.
Reve De Sivola was only fourth in the latter event but connections took a view the Nick Williams-trained gelding was still feeling the effects of his hard race when winning the Cleeve Hurdle on testing ground at Cheltenham on Festival Trials Day.
The French Champion Hurdle at Auteuil in June would be another possible target for Reve De Sivola as long as the ground was suitable.
"We are looking at Punchestown probably next. He's won and been placed there. Aintree is definitely out. We're not considering going there," said owner Paul Duffy.
"Then we'll see how he might come out of that before we think of the French race. You have to be careful of the ground at Auteuil. It can be very sunny there at that time of year.
"It's one race at a time and we will have to see how he goes over the next few weeks. We want to make sure he has recovered from his latest exertions.
"If he's not right we will call time for the season. June is quite a long way off.
"He's come out of Cheltenham fine. On reflection we thought it was a pretty good run.
"He had a hard race in the Cleeve and it took something out of him. That was Richard Johnson's conclusion."
