Bray, Mullingar and Belfast plan Olympic parties

Separate homecoming parties are being planned for the medal winning Irish boxers on Monday evening
In Bray, a huge ceremony is being planned to welcome home the local Olympic champion.
At 4pm an open-top bus will begin its journey to the the bandstand on Bray's seafront where Katie and Adam Nolan (who boxes in Bray) will be presented to the audience.
There will be live music and a fireworks display at 9.30pm.
Bray Town Council has asked anyone planning on attending the event to use public transport. Strand Road and Meath Road in the town will be closed to traffic from 1pm, with local access only.
In Mullingar, a big screen has been erected to show John Joe Nevin's fight tonight. The screen is located in the car park of the Harbour Place shopping centre.
Although the colour of his medal has yet to be decided, it has been decided that there will be a homecoming parade for Nevin on Monday.
John Joe will travel through Mullingar on an open top bus from 6.30pm.
The Mullingar Band will lead the parade, followed by the Cavan Boxing Club (John Joe's club), followed by an open top bus carrying John Joe Nevin and fellow Mullingar Olympian Joseph Murphy.
The parade will travel from Patrick Street to Cusack Park, where a special stage will be erected on the pitch.
A formal homecoming ceremony will be held in the GAA venue at around 7.30pm. Gates to Cusack Park will open at 6.30 and entertainment will be provided.
An official homecoming celebration is also planned in Belfast for Paddy Barnes and Michael Conlan.
The event is being held at the Titanic Quarter in Belfast at 5.30pm. No further details have been released.
