Rain stopped play at Wimbledon on all courts except the main Centre Court at 12:37pm today.

Play should have begun at 10:30am on the outside courts, but an earlier shower delayed the start by 90 minutes.

However, with light rain again falling over the All England Club, it meant only Rafa Nadal's third round encounter with Kazakhstan's Mikhail Kukushkin could continue, albeit under a closed Centre Court roof.

Among those scampering back into the locker room was world number one Serena Williams, whose match against Alize Cornet on Court One was halted at 1-1 in the first set.
