Victoria Azarenka will meet Sam Stosur in the final of the Southern California Open at Carlsbad.
Former world number one Azarenka saw off Ana Ivanovic in the first semi-final, winning 6-0 4-6 6-3 in one hour and 53 minutes.
In the second match of the day played at played at the Omni La Costa resort, Stosur ended the impressive run of wild card entrant Virginie Razzano in straight sets, 7-6 (7/2) 6-3.
Razzano made a great start with an early break of serve but fifth seed Stosur hit back to win a first set which contained four breaks.
Stosur broke in the third game of the second set and took the first of the two match points she earned on her opponents' serve in the ninth game, wrapping up victory in one hour and 39 minutes.
