Murray advances to Montreal semis
Updated: Saturday, 15 Aug 2009 11:41
Andy Murray made short work of Nikolay Davydenko to book his place in the semi-finals of the Rogers Cup in Montreal today.
Russian Davydenko came into the contest on an 12-match winning streak, but that run came to an abrupt end as the world number three claimed a 6-3 6-4 victory in one hour and 21 minutes.
The Scot capitalised on the catalogue of errors by Davydenko to set up a last-four meeting with either Roger Federer or Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.
