Sorenson appointed Davis Cup captain

Tennis Ireland has announced the appointment of Sean Sorenson as the new Irish Davis Cup Captain.

His first tie in charge will be the eight Nation promotional event to be staged in Cairo in Egypt from 7 May.

Sorenson has signed a two-year contract which will see him in charge until the end of the 2008 Davis Cup campaign.
