McMahon records PB in final swim

The European Youth Olympic Festival concluded in Tampere, Finland with Ireland's Sycerika McMahon finishing fourth in the final of the 200m Butterfly in a time of 2:18.94.

This was a new personal best for the swimmer who also recorded a personal best in the race for the 100m split time of 1:04.73.

Overall, McMahon finished with the largest haul of medals of any Irish athlete at this competition with silver and two bronze medals.
