The Irish Long Course Swimming Championships take place this week at the National Aquatic Centre, from tomorrow through to Sunday.

Preliminary sessions will begin daily at 10.00am and final sessions will commence at 4.00pm each afternoon.

RTE’s OB Sport Television Crew will be filming the Thursday evening session (finals) and the OB Sport programme will broadcast on RTÉ 2 Television this Saturday.

Entrance into the event at the National Aquatics Centre facility at Abbottstown is free to the public.

The swimmers will be striving towards reaching qualification standards for the upcoming major events of the year such as the World Championships, World Student Games, European Junior Championships, European Youth Olympic Games and International Paralympic Committee (IPC) European Championships.
