Derry City have released Mark Stewart and Enda Curran from their contracts with the SSE Airtricity Premier Division club.

Stewart was signed by City following his release from Kilmarnock last year and scored on his league debut against Shamrock Rovers.

He went on to make 12 appearances this season for the Candystripes but moves on with new manager Peter Hutton at the helm, having been signed by ex-boss Roddy Collins.

Curran, meanwhile, scored two goals in 13 matches for Derry including in the win over Sligo Rovers.

He has been linked with a switch to Galway United.
