The Bus Éireann Women’s National League annual award nominations and team of the season for 2013-14 have been confirmed.

Raheny United midfielder Ciara Grant, Peamount United trio Aine O’Gorman, Stephenie Roche and Julie-Ann Russell, Castlebar Celtic’s Emma Hansberry and Galway WFC’s Sinead Taylor have all been nominated for the Player of the Year award.

Champions and current leaders Raheny have also had U19 international duo Katie McCabe and Clare Shine nominated for the Young Players of the Year award alongside Castlebar Celtic’s Sarah Rowe.

The Bus Éireann Women’s League National Annual Awards will be presented at the official luncheon, which will take place in the Aviva Stadium, on Wednesday, 30 April.

There will also be a special Hall of Fame Award presented and a Golden Boot Award.

This season’s Bus Éireann Women’s National League title race has been dramatic with holders Raheny United leading the table by five points from inaugural winners Peamount United with two fixtures each left to play.
