Sligo Rovers have announced the signing of striker Eric Odhiambo for the 2014 season.

A long-time target for Rovers boss Ian Baraclough, the 24-year-old striker has played with Leicester, Inverness, Hereford United and Denizlispor in Turkey.

Baraclough said: “His style will suit our game and philosophy. He can play as a striker, in the hole or on the wing. He is good with his feet and has an excellent football brain.”

The Bit o'Red begin their Airtricity League campaign at home to Athlone Town on 8 March.
