Bray Wanderers have secured the signature of winger Jake Kelly for the upcoming 2014 season.

Kelly spent the last two seasons at St Patrick’s Athletic and the 23-year-old returns for his second spell with the Seagulls, where he made 104 appearances from 2008-2011 and scored 26 goals.

New Bray boss Alan Mathews said: “I have admired Jake since I first saw him and I am delighted to have him in our squad for the coming season.”

Bray start their tenth consecutive Airtricity Premier League campaign on 7 March at Limerick.

Elsewhere, Derry City have re-signed Dean Jarvis, after the former Institute defender agreed a one-year deal with the Brandywell club.

Jarvis said: "It's great to have finally signed back to Derry City for the coming season, there was a lot of speculation around my future with other clubs being mentioned, but I always knew I would sign back with Derry.

"Pre-season has been tough so far but it's been good to get back to it, seeing the lads from last year and meeting the new lads who have come into the squad."
