Dundalk have signed goalkeeper Gabriel Sava, the Lilywhites have announced.

Sava has had spells with Bray Wanderers, Monaghan United and Drogheda United over the last six seasons.

During his time with Monaghan, he made 61 appearances and helped the club to the EA Sports Cup final in 2010, beating Dundalk on the way, and gained promotion in 2011.

He becomes the 17th player to commit to the Lilywhites for the 2014 season and will battle with Peter Cherrie for the number one jersey.
