Castlebar Celtic returned to winning ways after a tense Bus Éireann Women’s National League clash with Shamrock Rovers at Celtic Park today, which ended 2-1.
Senior international striker Emma Mullin grabbed the winner in injury time to frustrate the visiting Hoops.
Rovers had led since the 49th minute when Paula Doran scored with a cross that was carried over keeper Amy Hopkins' head and into the goal.
The Dubliners looked set to hang on for the precious three points but were undone when Lucy Hannon headed home the equaliser for Castlebar in the 83rd minute from a Sara McGeough cross, and then lost all when Mullin netted.
