UCD 0-1 Wexford Youths

A Liam O'Loughlin goal ended UCD's 100% start to the season at the Belfield Bowl.

O'Loughlin scored a superb goal on 37 when a corner was cleared into his path, and he volleyed home from 25 yards.

Ger Barron made a point-blank save on 44, but UCD came out much stronger after the break, Kilduff and McMahon just failing to get close-range touches from teasing crosses.

Youths rarely threatened in the second half, but defended doggedly, harrying UCD throughout and were full value for their win.
