Bray Wanderers manager Eddie Gormley has made his first appointment, naming former Dundalk, St Pat's and Bray player Keith Long as assistant manager.

Long, 35, started his career with Stoke City before joining Dundalk in 1993. He joined St Pat's in 1996 and soon established himself as a regular in the Saints side that won the Premier Division in 1997/98 and 1998/99.

He signed for Bray Wanderers in July 2000 after returning from a year in Australia.

Long made 138 appearances for the Seagulls before retiring in 2005.
