Galway United v Monaghan United team news

Galway United have Wes Charles, Alan Murphy and Ciaran Foley  back from suspension, but are without injured defender Ronan Frawley and striker Barry Moran for the visit of Monaghan United this evening, kick-off at 7.45pm.

With Dundalk and Shamrock Rovers drawing last night, a fourth win on the spin will put Galway second on goal difference, level on points with the current top two, though boss Tony Cousins knows it won't be easy.

'On their day, Monaghan can beat anybody, and we will have to be at our best to win,' said Cousins guardedly.

Second-bottom Monaghan, with just one win in seven games, welcome Kevin Cronin back from a ban.
