Sligo Rovers claimed another important away SSE Airtricity League victory by defeating Limerick FC 3-0 at Thomond Park.
Having defeated Bohemians on Monday at Dalymount Park Ian Baraclough's side eked out another positive result in the south-west.
Sligo rattled the Limerick net in the third minute when Paul O'Conor scored following smart approach work by Kieran Djilali.
The Bit O'Red finished with a flourish as Aaron Greene (88) and substitute Seamus Conneely (90) sealed the deal with two late goals.
Limerick went close in the second minute when Shane Tracy's corner was headed over by Stephen Folan, but the Blues were then rocked.
A defensive lapse in concentration allowed Kieran Djilali skip clear on the right to cross for O'Conor, who confidently drilled the Bit O'Red ahead.
Chances continued to be crafted by both teams and Shane Duggan's initial effort was headed just over by Samuel Oji in the 15th minute.
Sligo, though, ought to have went two up moments later, but Shane Cusack did well to claw away Greene's attempt.
From the rebound Jason Hughes slid in to deny Danny Ledwith as the football was being played at a good tempo.
John Russell was then thwarted by a Stephen Folan clearance as Sligo were keen to reflect their supremacy with another goal.
But gritty Limerick were honest as Rory Gaffney nearly landed an equaliser from an acute angle in the 32nd minute.
Alan Keane's delicate delivery eight minutes after the restart was bundled narrowly wide by Djilali as Sligo were bright in the third quarter.
Russell's midfield promptings alongside David Cawley and O'Conor ensured Sligo enjoyed plenty of possession, but Limerick were battling.
Nine minutes from time Gaffney forced a decent save from Rogers, but Sligo weren't too perturbed and they struck a second late on.
Greene raced clear in the 88th minute evading Cusack's despairing dive to score and Conneely decorated the win in stoppage time.
