Seán Brosnan has signed for Cork City for the 2013 season.

The 20-year-old, who can play on the wing or up front, previously played for Limerick and has been capped at under-17 and under-18 level by the Republic of Ireland.

Commenting on the signing, City boss Tommy Dunne said: “Seán has been in training with us over the last couple of weeks, and he has done well.

"He is based in Cork and attending UCC, so it makes sense for him to sign with us.

"He’s a good lad and he trains well; he was in training with us before and we didn’t have room for him at that time, but we do now and I hope he does well.

"He has not come in just to make up the numbers, and I hope he can push on and challenge for a place in the first team.”
