New Shamrock Rovers manager Trevor Croly has continued to strengthen his side by signing midfielder Shane Robinson.
Robinson returns to the Hoops having spent two seasons at FC Haka in the Finnish league, where he picked up the Player of the Year award in both seasons.
The 31-year-old has previously had two spells at the club, and also spent time at Drogheda United in between.
Robinson said: "It’s a privilege to be coming back to Shamrock Rovers. When I left the last time, I would never have seen this happening. I enjoyed my time away but I’m looking forward to being back in the league and to working with Trevor again."
The Hoops also announced that midfielder Stephen Rice has agreed a new contract.
Rice (28) is Rovers longest serving player and will play his sixth season with the club in 2013, having joined from Bohemians in early 2008.
