Gary Rogers has signed a new deal with Sligo Rovers for the 2013 season.

The goalkeeper, chosen in the PFAI team of the season for 2012, commits to the Bit o' Red for next year after playing an integral part in the Airtricity Premier Division title win

Alan Keane, Danny North, Seamus Conneely, Ryan Connolly, Jeff Henderson, Gavin Peers, David Cawley are also under contact for at The Showgrounds next season.

Speaking about his contract extension, Rogers said: "It is brilliant to continue my career with Sligo Rovers.

"I'm already looking forward to next year. Rovers are a top club, I really enjoyed my time in Sligo last year and I'm very happy my future here is sorted.

"Winning the league was fantastic, the club has made great strides and we want to continue that with more trophies in 2013.

"I enjoy working with Ian Baraclough and being one of the more experienced players in the dressing room and the chance to continue that is something I'm very happy to take."
