Brennan to take temporary charge of Galway

Galway United have announced the appointment of John Brennan as caretaker manager for the remainder of the 2011 season.
He takes over after Sean Connor's contract was terminated by mutual agreement on Saturday.
Brennan is one of the clubs all-time leading goalscorers, and has also played League of Ireland football for Shamrock Rovers, Sligo Rovers and Dundalk.
He has previous coaching experience with Salthill Devon, and has been the manager of the Galway United A Championship side in 2011.
Brennan will take charge for Monday evening's match against UCD at Belfield.
