Shelbourne went away with maximum points from Ferrcarrig Park as they beat Wexford Youths 2-1 on Friday night.
Wexford had a Gavin Doyle goal ruled out as early as the sixth minute, but the striker did get his eighth goal of the season in the 32nd minute when he tapped home from close range.
However, Wexford imploded in the space of two second-half minutes when Paddy Madden equalised in the 71st minute and then Anto Flood got the winner a minute later, running onto a Madden flick-on.
Shels had David McAllister sent off in the 80th minute, but the Youths failed to capitalise and the visitors held on for victory.
