Rovers' Tallaght opening is a sell-out

Shamrock Rovers have confirmed that Friday night's Tallaght Stadium opening is a sell-out and that all tickets for the visit of Sligo Rovers have been sold.
An unprecedented demand for season tickets - just under 2,000 were sold - left a very limited number of match tickets available, with demand far outstripping supply.
Hoops chairman Jonathan Roche confirmed: 'Following a full reconciliation, the club can confirm that all 3,500 seats for the historic first match on Friday have been sold.
'It will, of course, be a major disappointment for those who will miss out on the experience that Friday night promises – but we were always bound by the limited capacity.'
Season ticket sales will resume on Wednesday, 18 March and all details are available on shamrockrovers.ie, the club's official website.
The match will be screened live on RTÉ Two and worldwide on RTÉ.ie from 8pm on Friday.
