Liverpool Legends confirm Finn Park date

Former Republic of Ireland stars Ray Houghton, John Aldridge, Phil Babb and Jason McAteer will be part of a Liverpool Legends team that will take on a Finn Harps Legends XI in a fundraising game for Harps on Saturday, 4 October at Finn Park.

The Irish legends form part of a star-studded cast that also includes the likes of Alan Kennedy, Phil Neal, Michael Thomas, Gary Gillespie, Jan Molby, John Durnin and David Fairclough.

The opposition will be provided by a Harps legends team that will include the likes of Harry Walsh, Tom Mohan, Donal O'Brien, Pierce Walsh, Jim Sheridan, Con McLaughlin, Trevor Scanlon, Maurice Toland, Johnny Kenny, Paul Hegarty, Felix Healy, Paddy McGrenaghan and John Minnock snr.

Efforts are also being made to entice other members of the 1974 FAI Cup winning team, including the great Brendan Bradley, to make an appearance on the home side.

Match tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster outlets, on the
official Finn Harps website or direct from the club.

Seated tickets cost €25, adult terrace €20 and concessionary terrace tickets are €15.

The match will be followed by a Gala Dinner at which seats are
available for €100 per seat.

Each table will have at least one Liverpool legend seated at it. The dinner begins at 7.30pm and will be held at the Raddison Hotel Letterkenny.
