Byrne moves from Athlone to Harps

Davy Byrne has become Finn Harps' fourth signing of the transfer window after he completed his move from Athlone Town.
The 28-year-old midfielder has had a nomadic career, having previously played for Shelbourne, Dundee United, St Patrick's Athletic, Derry City and Longford Town.
He endured a disappointing time with the in Scotland, making just one appearance during his one season at Tannadice, and had further disappointment when he won an FAI Cup runners-up medal during his time at St Pat's.
Byrne has gone straight into the Harps squad for tonight's Premier Division clash with Cork City.
