Mark Quigley's brace of goals helps St Patrick's continue their 100% start to the league

With Bobby Ryan and Keith Fahey pulling the strings, St Patrick's Athletic took their season's start to four wins in-a-row by the seaside.

A first-half Stephen Paisley header was added to by Mark Quigley's second half double as John McDonnell got the better of former Saint Eddie Gormley at the Carlisle Grounds.

The Saints now sit pretty at the top of the Premier Division table with a maximum 12 points, while a third consecutive defeat leaves Bray propping up the standings.

More worryingly, Wanderers remain without a top-flight goal so far this season.

The away team never looked in trouble after forging a 24th minute breakthrough.

From Fahey's quickly taken corner, Paisley's front post glancing header deceived Chris O'Connor who seemed unsighted.

Having weathered the host's mini-revival when Gavin Whelan dragged a shot wide after the interval, a sweeping move gave the Inchicore outfit a two-goal cushion in the 63rd minute.

Fahey fine cross-field pass picked out Gary O'Neill. His pin-point centre picked out strike partner Quigley who side-footed to he net from ten-yards.

St Pat's wrapped it up in the first minute of injury time when substitute Glen Fitzpatrick released Alan Kirby. His flighted deep ball found Quigley who planted in a close range header.

Bray Wanderers: O'Connor; Ivory, Doherty, Kenny, Pender (Myler 73 mins); Whelan, Cawley, Duggan, Cronin; Kavanagh, Mulroy (Georgescu 55 mins).

St Patrick's Athletic: Clarke; Lynch, Partridge, O’Cearuill (Brennan , Paisley; Bobby Ryan (Guy 82 mins), Fahey, Dempsey, Kirby; O'Neill (Fitzpatrick 88 mins), Quigley.
