Ireland will play Latvia in a friendly match at the Aviva Stadium on 15 November.

The match will be the last home game of the year and comes four days before the away match against Poland in Poznan.

The Football Association of Ireland are still pursuing a new manager to replace Giovanni Trapattoni.

Under-21 boss Noel King took charge of the final two World Cup qualifying matches of the campaign.

There is no update on who will be manager for the friendlies with Ray Houghton and Ruud Dockter set to present their assessments to the Association next week.

The match will be played less than 24 hours before the Ireland v Australia rugby International at the same venue.
