Seven-time UEFA Women's Championship winners Germany will defend their title against Norway or Denmark after beating hosts Sweden 1-0 to reach the final.

In an end-to-end match, Dzsenifer Marozsan's first-half goal proved enough to send Silvia Neid's women through to Sunday's tournament decider at the Friends Arena in Solna.

Frankfurt midfielder Marozsan held off Charlotte Rohlin to glide into the area and slide the ball beyond the onrushing Swedish goalkeeper Kristin Hammarstrom in the 33rd minute of play in Gothenburg.

Josefine Oqvist, Kosovare Asllani and Lotta Schelin - the competition's top scorer with five goals - enjoyed the best chances for Pia Sundhage's side but Sweden were unable to book a first final appearance since 2001.

Norway and Denmark face off in Norrkoping tomorrow night.
