Dick Advocaat confirmed as Russia manager

The Russian football federation have named Dutchman Dick Advocaat as the new coach of Russia's national football team.
'Dick Advocaat will be appointed as the head coach of the Russian national side,' Russian news agencies quoted the federation head Sergei Fursenko as saying.
Advocaat will replace fellow Dutchman Guus Hiddink, who failed to take Russia past the qualifying rounds for the World Cup finals in South Africa.
