Owen Garvan to captain promising U-21s

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 team takes on Armenia at the Tallaght Stadium tonight with Owen Garvan set to wear the captain's armband.
The Ipswich Town midfielder will captain a talented side which also includes Everton defender Seamus Coleman and David Meyler of Sunderland – both having recently made their Premiership bows.
Rising Chelsea star Conor Clifford is also named, as is winger Alan Judge, who scored Ireland's goal the last time they played in Tallaght in a 1-1 draw with Georgia.
