The Republic of Ireland Under-21 side reported for duty in Dublin today ahead of Wednesday’s UEFA Under-21 European Championship qualifier against Armenia in Tallaght Stadium, kick-off 7.30pm.
There are no injury concerns ahead of the match, with rising stars such as Seamus Coleman, Owen Garvan, Sean Scannell and David Meyler all expected to feature for Don Givens’ men.
The match also sees a return to international action for Terry Dixon, who was called into Ireland’s senior squad in 2006 at the age of 16.
Once regarded as among the most promising talents in the game, a series of injuries almost caused Dixon to call time on his career.
However, the striker is now back playing for West Ham United and is hoping to recover his previous form.
Tickets for the match are priced €5 for adults and €2 for Under-16s.
