Trap decides against Doyle replacement

Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni will not be calling up a replacement for Kevin Doyle, following the Reading striker's withdrawal from the World Cup qualifier with Bulgaria.
It was hoped that his injured calf muscle might heal in time for the match in Sofia, but Doyle failed to come through light training and has been ruled out.
Caleb Folan is now likely to start up front alongside Robbie Keane for the 6 June encounter.
