McCaffrey names U-19 squad for France game

Republic of Ireland Under-19 manager Sean McCaffrey has today named his 18-man squad for the friendly International match against France in Paris on Wednesday, 6 December (kick-off 4.00pm local time).
The match will form part of the squad’s preparations for the UEFA Under-19 Elite qualifying group matches, due to take place in May 2007.
Ireland advanced through the preliminary qualification phase of the UEFA Championship as group winners after defeating Holland, Belarus and Macedonia.
Ireland will discover their opposition for the Elite stage on December 5th when the draw is made in Nyon.
Only the team that finishes top of the four-nation Elite group will qualify for the 2007 European Championships to be held in Austria next July.
