Bayern Munich reached the Word Club final after beating Asian champions Guangzhou Evergrande 3-0 in Morocco on Tuesday night.

Pep Guardiola's side booked their place in Saturday’s decider courtesy of goals from Franck Ribery, Mario Mandzukic and Mario Gotze.

The German treble-winners who, after also lifting the UEFA Supercup in August, can pick up their fifth title of the year in Marrakesh on Saturday.

Bayern will face the winner of Wednesday night's other semi-final between Brazil's Atletico Mineiro and Moroccan side Raja Casablanca.

"We now want the title," said captain Philipp Lahm.

"That would allow us to go into the winter break in relaxed mood."

Guardiola praised his side's professionalism against Chinese side Guangzhou, coached by Italian World Cup winning coach Marcello Lippi.

"My team deserve to be in the final," said the Catalan. "We played a serious game against a side who had some fast wingers.

"We controlled the game with a lot of possession and created lots of chances, but it still wasn't easy.

"I'm very happy and am pleased for my players and the club and hope we will win the title on Saturday."

Lippi said Bayern were in a league of their own, even though his side had shown in parts why they have been so successful under him.

"You could see the difference between the best team in the world and the rest," Lippi said.

"Bayern Munich are always a dominant side and we couldn't cope with their superior strength.

"We were clearly inferior, but I cannot criticise my team because they played a decent game."
