Hamstring injury rules Emmanuel Adebayor out of Tottenham Europa League opener against Lazio

Striker Emmanuel Adebayor is out of Tottenham's Europa League clash with Lazio on Thursday due to a hamstring injury 

Manager Andre Villas-Boas has vowed to make a few changes to his team, which could mean a debut for France captain Hugo Lloris in goal.

Scott Parker (Achilles), Heurelho Gomes (ankle), Jake Livermore (groin), Younes Kaboul and Benoit Assou-Ekotto (both knee) are out.
